The Team

The State Library and Archives of Tasmania is Tasmania’s largest library and archive, preserving and providing access to the state’s documentary heritage. Its collections include all Tasmanian publications, government records, community archives, historic books, newspapers, maps, manuscripts, artworks and rare books that document Tasmania’s social, economic and cultural history.

About the Role

State Library and Archives Service Coordinator will provide high level support to the State Library and Archives Service team and coordinate day to day operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. This includes research, the coordination of service points, training, events, and exhibitions together with collection access and operations. The position will also monitor the budget, including financial reporting for the team, and develop and implement operational solutions to meet administrative service requirements.
