The Team

Facility Services provides specialised services, support and advice in relation to DECYP's infrastructure and property, vehicle fleet and procurement. We operate statewide and are divided into five workstreams that offer the following services Asset Management and Planning, Business Services, Capital Works, Facility Operations and Stakeholder Engagement.

The Stakeholder Engagement team provide expert advice on major capital project community consultation/ communications, infrastructure issues communications, consultation templates, ministerial enquiries and correspondence.

About the Role

Within this context the Stakeholder Engagement Officer will support the delivery of an effective service by creating communication materials and undertaking stakeholder engagement activities within the community. The incumbent will provide advice and work in collaboration with the team to develop and implement internal and external content and resources which ensure the effective promotion of infrastructure projects and programs for the Department.

Essential

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment

Desirable

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in media, marketing, communications
  • Current driver’s licence
