Period of employment / Hours:

Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Homes Tasmania - Community Infrastructure, Capital Development – Hobart (**)

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

As a member of the Capital Development team, contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania’s community infrastructure portfolio, with a particular focus on social and affordable housing, through the delivery of a broad range of capital development projects that meet client needs and achieve value for money.
 
The core objectives of the role are to:
  • Work with Capital Project Managers to manage specific projects and/or contribute to larger projects.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support the implementation of project activities.

Skills and experience :

Selection criteria includes:

  • Proven project management skills, ideally demonstrated in the asset management, procurement and contract administration and management environment, with demonstrated capacity to utilise contemporary information and project management tools and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate human, financial and physical resources in an environment subject to change and competing priorities.
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to understand political, social, and organisational environments, together with the ability to identify and respond to contemporary issues impacting on the Homes Tasmania community infrastructure portfolio.

  • Working towards or successful completion of qualifications relevant to the role.
