Period of Appointment

Fixed-term for 2 years. 

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Manage and co-ordinate project activities for infrastructure projects, in conjunction with and under the guidance of the Program Manager.
  • With direction from the Program Manager or Project Manager, contribute to and support the delivery of projects within specified timelines and budget, including responsibility for allocated workstreams or components.
  • Maintain and regularly update an overall Project Plan, including key project information, responsibilities, and delegated accountabilities for project components.
  • Provide high level advice and prepare submissions, briefings, correspondence and reports as required, including detailed documentation for the Steering Committee.
  • Undertake consultation with reference groups and stakeholders as required to support project delivery and outcomes.
  • With guidance from the Project Manager, contribute to the development and implementation of the project Risk Management Plan.
  • Coordinate meetings of project working groups and the Steering Committee, and ensure appropriate reporting on project progress and key issues.
  • In consultation with the Program Manager or Project Manager, support arrangements for commissioning and handover of completed project components, ensuring clarity of responsibilities across stakeholders.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Director or Program Manager.
