Duties

The Project Officer will be required to undertake project related activities to plan, coordinate and deliver a range of projects and strategic initiatives in line with the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) business priorities.

Qualifications and Experience 

Desirable:

Essential qualifications have not been prescribed, however, successful completion of, or substantial progress towards, tertiary qualifications may be advantageous. Project management qualifications are desirable.

Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.   • Sexual offences;
  • Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
  • Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);

  • Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
  • Malicious damage and destruction to property
  • Trafficking of narcotic substance;
  • False alarm raising.
