The role
The successful candidate
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing and managing complex child safeguarding risks, with the ability to identify emerging issues and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven experience coordinating and reviewing safety incidents, analysing trends and driving evidence-based improvements within governance, risk or safety frameworks.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to prepare strategic reports, briefings and governance documentation, and provide authoritative advice on sensitive matters.
- Strong leadership capability, professional judgement and adaptability, with experience operating independently in complex environments while maintaining confidentiality and supporting organisational change.

- 76 hours per fortnight

Salary
$132,460 to $139,392 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, law, or a health-related discipline, supported by experience managing sensitive matters and working with confidential information.
