Period of employment / Hours:

Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver acquisitions, residential development, property sales, shared equity programs and marketing initiatives that increase housing supply and home ownership opportunities in Tasmania.
 
The role ensures the effective planning, delivery, and performance of programs aligned with Homes Tasmania’s strategic objectives, the Tasmanian Housing Strategy, and relevant Commonwealth initiatives.
 

Skills and experience :

Selection criteria includes:

  • Extensive experience in acquisition, residential property development, asset divestment, housing programs or similar complex delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated capability in business case development, financial modelling and commercial decision-making and delivering programs aligned to government strategies and policy frameworks.
  • High-level strategic, conceptual, analytic, and creative skills, with the ability to understand and make sound judgments about the political, social and organisational environment impacting on the Agency.
  • Note : - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for ALL the selection criteria of this position.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, property, project management or the built environment.
