The service delivers a broad range of supports including residential aged care, subacute inpatient care, community Nursing, allied health , home care and social support.

The Role 

Beaconsfield District health Service is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer focused Food Services Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role plays an important part in supporting the nutritional wellbeing and dining experience of our aged care residents, sub-acute patients and day centre clients.

You will need

  • Understanding of food safety and infection prevention requirements
  • Capacity to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a strong team work ethic

Details of appointment

Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
