About the role

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering financial administration, reconciliation, reporting and business support services across the Business Unit. The role supports financial processing, budgeting, asset management and compliance activities, ensuring services are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance with Departmental policies and governance requirements.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

  1. Crimes of violence
  2. Sex related offences
  3. Serious drug offences
  4. Crimes involving dishonesty
  5. Serious traffic offences
  6. Any other offences under the Biosecurity Act 2019, or related legislation

Desirable requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar role, providing support within a finance, accounting or business services unit or function.
  • Experience with Government financial administrative practices and procedures.
  • Current drivers’ licence and the ability to travel within the state.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
