PAHSMA is responsible for conserving, managing, and presenting the heritage value of our sites, while also ensuring that our operations are supported by efficient and professional business practices. In addition to engaging external specialists where required, we directly employ a skilled Corporate Services team to support our day-to-day functions. Our Corporate Services staff play a key role in maintaining the internal operations that enable our conservation, heritage and tourism operations to thrive. Roles within these teams may include:

Finance Officer & Accounts Payable/receivable

Salary Range: $69,593 to $74,837 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 2.

Assistant Accountant

Salary Range: $86,325 to 99,237 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 4.

General Administration

Salary Range: $55,616 to $99,237 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band (1-4)

Community Inclusion Worker - Early Years Partnerships and Projects (North) - 978986

In partnership with local communities, Community Inclusion Workers (CIWs) will assist with developing and maintaining the Child and Family Learning Centres (CFLCs) and engage with the community to breakdown identified barriers to social participation. At the direction of the Centre Leader, work collaboratively with the community, parents/caregivers, local and state government agencies and service providers to support the participation of local families in the planning and delivery of community activities/programs and referral to other services that are responsive to the needs of families and young children. CIWs will be responsive to children and families experiencing social isolation, high levels of vulnerability and impacted by trauma to assist them to access the CFLC and relevant services for improved educational, health and wellbeing outcomes of children from birth to 5 years, including support during pregnancy. Work with CFLC staff and partner services to achieve effective approaches to engaging those families experiencing disadvantage in their communities.

Youth Engagement Worker - Student Support (North) - 976133

Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a coaching and support service which assists young people and their families to re-engage with the educational system. The incumbent will build and maintain relationships with young people and their families, and contribute to improving transition, attendance and retention. The role will build capacity in young people and increase their participation in educational and training programs.
