The Role:
You will need:
- Demonstrated senior clinical expertise and professional leadership as a Registered Nurse, with experience providing high‑level clinical consultation, advice, and education related to emergency preparedness, response, or complex clinical risk environments.
- Proven ability to contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of emergency preparedness and response policies, plans, procedures, exercises, or quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting operational preparedness activities, including coordination of training, drills, exercises, audits, reviews, or post‑incident evaluations, in collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in Emergency Management, Healthcare Management, Education and/or Quality Improvement
