Who are we looking for?

We are inviting passionate and skilled Allied Health Professionals to register their interest for fixed‑term and casual opportunities across Tasmania’s public health system.

The Allied Health Professional Fixed‑term and Casual Employment Registers enable currently registered Allied Health Professionals to be considered for full‑time, part‑time or casual roles for periods of up to 12 months.

These opportunities span hospital services, community health, and statewide mental health services, offering flexibility, career development, and exposure to diverse clinical settings.

If your profession aligns with Allied Health practice and you hold appropriate registration or accreditation, you are encouraged to apply.

The register will remain open until 30 June 2028 and will be reviewed on a regular basis. Please note that inclusion on this register does not preclude other Allied Health positions being advertised separately if required.

What you’ll bring

  • Current professional registration (where applicable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
  • Ability to provide effective client and consumer education
  • Commitment to teamwork and high‑quality care
Essential Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a relevant and approved allied health course of study at a recognised tertiary institution.

  • Registered with the relevant National Board for professions regulated under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law or in the case of self-regulated professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.

Please note that some roles may require you to hold current Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Registration.
