The Role
The Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Service (MHIDS) is a specialist short term assessment and advisory service which aims to improve the clinical outcomes for people with intellectual disability and mental illness.
As part of a MHIDS team the Administrative Officer will deliver high-quality support to both the MHIDS Career Medical Officer and the MHIDS Specialist Psychiatrist, the incumbent will:
- Work under the minimal supervision of the MHIDS Career Medical Officer (CMO) and the MHIDS Specialist Psychiatrist.
- Undertake a range of high-level administrative functions for the MHIDS Services.
- Liaise with administrative staff, clinicians, patients and carers to arrange clinics.

The Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Service is a specialist service focused on improving outcomes for people with intellectual disability and mental illness through collaborative, patient-centred care. A multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high quality administrative and clinical support, working closely with patients, carers, and health professionals. Details of Appointment
Permanent part time day worker position working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$76,849 to $82,996 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
