As a Ranger, you will work across the remarkable and diverse Bruny Island reserve network, which includes the South Bruny National Park and more than 20 other terrestrial and marine reserves. You will work in a small team of four and within the broader Huonville - Southwest Field Centre.
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. You will undertake a variety of tasks including revegetation, marine patrols, weed control, walking track management, campground management, fire management, reserve activity assessments, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.
Bruny Island is a spectacular and popular destination; you will enjoy working outdoors surrounded by towering sea cliffs, long sandy beaches, sweeping vistas, plentiful birdlife, and important heritage sites.
