Job description:

The purpose of the role is to provide high level project management advice, reporting and stakeholder engagement in the planning, procurement and delivery of Macquarie Island Nature Reserve, Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) and the Macquarie Island Modernisation Project, Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) and regional projects and programs for PWS.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Duties

The purpose of the role is to provide high level project management advice, reporting and stakeholder engagement in the planning, procurement and delivery of Macquarie Island Nature Reserve, Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) and the Macquarie Island Modernisation Project, Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) and regional projects and programs for PWS.

Desirable Requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
  • A qualification relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
  • Relevant experience in the management of sub-antarctic reserves areas or similar reserves land management experience would be an advantage.
