Job description:

Promote, develop, implement and manage Biosecurity Tasmania’s Digital Transformation Program processes with a strong focus on delivery of technological solutions. One of the main purposes to have this position is the implementation of MAX in Biosecurity Tasmania. MAX (Maximum Biosecurity) is a software application developed in the Microsoft Platform that focuses on the development of biosecurity management processes using tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and others.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation)

Promote, develop, implement and manage Biosecurity Tasmania’s Digital Transformation Program processes with a strong focus on delivery of technological solutions. Desirable Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or significant experience in information technology, project management and/or business management.
  • Experience working closely with end-users and software vendors to facilitate system improvements using contemporaneous technologies (e.g., MS360 and Java).  
  • A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
