Hours per fortnight
73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of Appointment
ASAP for 12 months (or until the return of the substantive whichever is earliest).
The purpose of the role is to ensure effective case management of workers compensation claims and non-compensable injury management in accordance with legislation, the Department’s Injury Management Plan and any applicable policies and guidelines.
As a result of a risk assessment process the Head of Agency gave consideration to where vaccination is a necessary control to protect the health and safety of workers and the community and therefore it has been determined that prior to appointment to these duties a person to is to provide evidence that they are vaccinated against the disease known as COVID-19.
- Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Return-to-Work).
- Qualified Injury Management Coordinator.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in workers compensation claims, injury management, work health and safety or a related discipline.
