The Department of Treasury and Finance is in the market for a new Director to head up the Office of the Superannuation Commission. In this role you will have a focus on leading the branch to ensure that long term strategic priorities are achieved, while also focusing on the delivery of high levels of client service and continuous improvement. The position deals with a wide range of stakeholders, and includes providing advice to the Superannuation Commission to enable it to perform its functions and to exercise its legislative powers.
You will have a background in effectively leading, managing and motivating a professional team across a complex set of operations to meet high levels of client service delivery. You will have highly developed interpersonal skills and knowledge of current change management practices and tools in order to achieve key strategic outcomes. Experience with complex legislation and regulatory issues, as well as the capacity to gain an understanding of defined benefit superannuation, is also required

This is a Senior Executive position for a period of up to five years with an annual salary range of between $162,645 to $178,909 pro rata per annum, plus 10% superannuation and provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle.
Highly Desirable Requirements
Completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
