Job description:

The Service Management Practice team is a dynamic unit within Health ICT dedicated to supporting the state's Health department. Our team specialises in continual service improvement, IT service management processes, reporting and data analytics, vendor management, and administration of the branch's ITSM tool. By focusing on these areas, we strive to enhance service delivery and operational excellence, ensuring impactful outcomes for our organisation and the broader Tasmanian community.

The Team:

The Service Management Practice team is a dynamic unit within Health ICT dedicated to supporting the state's Health department. Our team specialises in continual service improvement, IT service management processes, reporting and data analytics, vendor management, and administration of the branch's ITSM tool. By focusing on these areas, we strive to enhance service delivery and operational excellence, ensuring impactful outcomes for our organisation and the broader Tasmanian community.

The Role:

As part of the Service Management Practice team, the ITSM Consultant will undertake activities to assist with the delivery of Service Management initiatives. This includes performing the role of Change Manager for Health ICT and coordinating a range of tasks to provide support for the implementation of Service Management initiatives such as change and vendor management, process improvements, and developing and reporting on service level agreements (SLAs) for Health ICT.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: 

$107,899 to $122,292 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Relevant IT industry experience
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other contemporary analytics/reporting tools
  • Current Driver’s Licence
