Job description:

Train, guide and support warehouse staff on all warehousing processes, including identifying operational and staff training requirements to the Team Leader – TasEquip – to facilitate the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the warehouse.

The role:

  • Train, guide and support warehouse staff on all warehousing processes, including identifying operational and staff training requirements to the Team Leader – TasEquip – to facilitate the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the warehouse.
  • Undertake day-to-day operations of equipment handling, delivery/collection, customer service and administrative duties including data input on all systems in line with agency guidelines and policies.
  • Provide sound advice and accurate information on administrative and operational warehousing enquiries from TasEquip staff, prescribers and clients to ensure prompt and efficient customer service.
  • In accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, undertake financial processes including those associated with the NDIS, prepare and process applications and purchasing orders.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, TasEquip process development in conjunction with the other TasEquip Senior Customer Service Officers and Team Leaders – TasEquip to ensure Statewide consistency and efficiency.

This role within TasEquip North offers:

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day worker (with on call) position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2025

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.

Location: Launceston, Tasmania

Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

  • Current Driver’s Licence.
