The Clinical Lead Allied Health Professional Employment Register is established to provide the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice. Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for duties on a fixed-term or casual basis.
The Register will remain open until 17 May 2023 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Please note that the Register will not preclude other Clinical Lead Allied Health Professional positions being advertised if warranted. Current vacancies are available on the www.jobs.tas.gov.au website.

Allied Health Professional (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019

Duties
Provide expert level allied health specialist clinical advice enabling the delivery of high quality patient care for patients with complex care requirements.
Develop and promote effective partnerships within the Tasmanian Health Service and with external community service providers for liaison, education and support for complex and high-risk patients.
Provide authoritative specialist clinical advice on the development of policies and the delivery of services across the continuum of care.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: 1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violenceb) Sex Related Offencesc) Serious Drug Offencesd) Crimes involving dishonesty
2. Identification check3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.4. Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration for some roles
