Job description:
As one of the senior members of the Complaints and Oversight Unit, the focus of this position is on contributing to the efficient, effective and ethical operation of the Commission by managing the Oversight and Compliance Team, and providing high-level direction, research, analysis, advice and reports, including in connection with:
• monitoring and reviewing the outcomes of misconduct matters, including police misconduct matters
• own-motion investigations, particularly in regard to policies, practices and procedures, and
• operational legal research.
The occupant of this position will lead a team within the unit, provide leadership about operational issues and contribute to operational and strategic outcomes.
