Job description:
This role provides high-level support in procurement, contract management and property and facilities management. You will represent the Office on key committees, lead corporate support staff and oversee service delivery. The position is responsible for delivering expert advice, clear policies and reports with actionable recommendations.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Establish and maintain effective client relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction with the responsiveness, professionalism, and effectiveness of matters being addressed, particularly on procurement and finance matters.
- Coordinate the procurement function for the Office under the guidance of the Director Corporate Services and Governance and liaising with Crown Law and the Department of Treasury and Finance to support compliance with Government procedures and contracts.
- Provide advice on and secretariat support for procurement processes, including the preparation of procurement plans, quote and tender documents, supporting evaluation and review processes, drafting reports, communication with tenderers, and contract arrangements within the parameters of Treasury templates and Treasurer’s Instructions.
- Administer accounts payable transactions and Government Card reconciliations.
- Represent the Office on committees, working groups and forums dealing with contracting, procurement, asset control, accommodation, property, climate change, vehicle fleet, works and services related matters as required
- Administer the business continuity, property and facilities management for the Office, including refurbishments, building maintenance, asset management, and security
- Coordinate motor vehicle requisitions, servicing and replacements in accordance with Treasurer’s Instructions and other Government policy
- Ensure compliance with and procedures for work health and safety, including first aid, fire and emergency officers, in-line with relevant legislation, and provide support for staff wellbeing functions.
- Supervise, coach and develop corporate support staff, providing advice and guidance and ensuring established procedures are applied and followed appropriately.
- Undertake research, provide recommendations, and draft policy and procedure documentation as required and provide support to other projects as directed.

- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
- Identification check.
Desirable Requirements
Diploma or tertiary qualification at degree level in in law, public procurement, purchasing management or similar; or other academic qualifications that are recognised as being equivalent.
Driver’s Licence.
