The Fixed-Term and Casual Employment Register is established to provide PAHSMA with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are available for work at short notice. Please note that some positions may require pre-employment checks or the ability to fulfill essential requirements.

PAHSMA is responsible for conserving, managing, and presenting the heritage value of our sites, while also ensuring that our operations are supported by efficient and professional business practices. In addition to engaging external specialists where required, we directly employ a skilled Corporate Services team to support our day-to-day functions. If you are highly organised, have a strong eye for detail, and bring experience in HR & payroll, finance & accounting, IT & digital, administration & corporate support, we encourage you to lodge an application to join one of our team’s.

Our Corporate Services staff play a key role in maintaining the internal operations that enable our conservation, heritage and tourism operations to thrive. Roles within these teams may include:

Finance Officer & Accounts Payable/receivable

Salary Range: $66,766 to $71,857 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 2.

Assistant Accountant

Salary Range: $83,011 to $87,396 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 4.

General Administration

Salary Range: $53,196 to $95,547 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band Band (1-4)

Secretarial/Executive Support

Salary Range: $74,783 to $104,352 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band Band (3-5)

Human Resources Officer

Salary Range: $53,196 to $95,547 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band Band (1-4)

Human Resource Specialist

Salary Range: $88,853 to $136,089 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band Band (4-7)

Payroll Officer

Salary Range: $74,783 to $80,835 per annum – Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 3.

IT Support Officer

Salary Range: $83,011 to $87,396 per annum- Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Award, General Stream Band 4.

Essential Requirements

  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Some position may require formal qualifications, licences, registrations, etc.
  • Some positions may require a pre-employment medical assessment
