The Role:
- The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Diabetes provides expert clinical knowledge and skills within a multidisciplinary framework to assist individuals and their families/carers to adjust to living with diabetes through active primary care, education, family support, research, and advocacy
- Provide leadership, mentorship and assist diabetes educators allocated to inpatients, outpatient, and multidisciplinary teams that is supportive, uses reflective practice and within a safe learning environment.
You will need to:
- Have post graduate qualifications in Diabetes Education and hold Credentialled Diabetes Educator status
- Have expertise in patient assessment and diabetes management including supporting patients in self-management of diabetes
- Be willing to work across multiple sites

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount..
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
