Job description:

The Project Manager - Change Management will coordinate the transition from the existing head contractor model to a new hybrid panel model. This role involves developing and executing change management strategies ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders aligning the new model with Homes Tasmania’s objectives.

Period of employment / Hours:

Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing approximately 15 June 2025 for a period of 6 months.

Location:

Homes Tasmania - Community Infrastructure – Hobart

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

As a member of the Community Infrastructure Property Maintenance team, the Project Manager - Change Management will coordinate the transition from the existing head contractor model to a new hybrid panel model. This role involves developing and executing change management strategies ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders aligning the new model with Homes Tasmania’s objectives. This includes:
  • Strategic planning and execution
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Risk assessment and mitigation
  • Organising training and appropriate knowledge and information sharing
  • Development of operational processes and systems
  • Monitoring performance, reporting and identifying improvements.

Skills and experience :

Selection criteria includes:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management within the Tasmanian Government framework and experience in the management of contract performance, management and compliance principles and practices.
  • Strong liaison and consultation skills with the ability to research, present and evaluate reports and submissions and negotiate recommendations.
  • Well-developed ability to effectively design and implement maintenance operational programs and undertake project management.
