The Role:
The Nurse Manager (NM) - Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) will lead and manage the coordination of patient access and flow for the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH), lead and manage the IOC team and coordinate and manage casual/pool and identified positions. The NM - IOC will work consultatively and collaboratively across a broad internal and external stakeholder network to effectively coordinate and manage resources for the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services.
The Nurse Manager - Integrated Operations Centre will:
- Work both autonomously and among a larger team to oversee and manage the Integrated Operations Centre, Patient access and flow, and staffing at the Mersey Community Hospital
- Provide exceptional leadership and communication skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, collaboration, and problem solving
- Act with integrity, accountability and respect at all times, and be a role model and mentor for other staff

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $122,365 to $129,060 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
