Job description:

Department of Health currently have multiple permanent full time opportunities available for Finance Services Officers to join the Revenue Management team, based in Hobart CBD.

The Role is working within the Finance and Business Support/ Statewide Revenue Management South Team and the role includes:

  • Check accuracy of data and information. Take action to investigate and resolve identified discrepancies and to apply correct charges, calculations or codes prior to data entry.
  • In accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation raise, receipt, reconcile and process accounts receivable for debtors.
  • Undertake reconciliation of daily transactions and monies.
  • Liaise with a broad range of hospital personnel, interdepartmental staff and clients on a range of revenue and account enquiries and provide advice and instruction in relation to finance operational processes.

Details of Appointment

Multiple permanent, full time, day worker positions, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Classification: 

Salary $71,661 - $77,455 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + You will have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
