Support the development of strategic policy advice across the education portfolio, to inform decisions made by Government and senior officials to improve education outcomes in Tasmania. As part of a team, manage projects, undertake research, analyse issues, consult with stakeholders and coordinate the provision of information to contribute to strategic policy development and the implementation of priority projects.
Case manage professional conduct matters, including notifications, complaints, inquiries, hearings and other processes related to the good character and fitness to teach of applicants and registrants,in accordance with legislation, relevant delegations and Board policy.
Provide general professional customer focused library and/or archival services or assist in the development and delivery of specialist library and information services, to a high standard of customer service.
Contribute to the efficient operation of Facility Services through the provision of high level client service, clerical and administrative support.
To coordinate, develop and deliver high quality training and resources to support the implementation of the new Office of the Tasmanian Assessment Standards and Certification (TASC) Reporting Assessment Certification System (TRACS) that will manage the lifecycle for all senior secondary students, from school registration and enrolment, to exam, assessment and qualification.
Develop and deliver training and materials to key stakeholders including; Principals, TASC Liaison Officers, teachers of Years 11 and 12 across Tasmania, registered training organisations and recognised formal learning agencies.
Coordinate the development and implementation of internal and external communication and change management strategies to ensure the successful implementation of the Office of the Tasmanian Assessment Standards and Certification (TASC) Reporting Assessment Certification System (TRACS). TRACS will manage all Tasmanian senior secondary student data, from school registration and enrolment, to exam, assessment and qualifications.
To provide strategic, high quality educational leadership across early learning to support the successful implementation of the department’s goal of Early Learning in the Strategic Plan 2018-2021.
