The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Persistent Pain Registrar vacancy at Royal Hobart Hospital.The Royal Hobart Hospital is the tertiary referral hospital for Tasmania, and the principal teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania School of Medicine. The Hospital provides most specialist medical services for the region or state.The Persistent Pain Service (PPS) is a multidisciplinary pain centre, made up of a group of health care professionals who will access and treat the physical, medical, work and social aspects of people with chronic pain through rehabilitation, education, improved self-management and teamwork involvement. The team includes specialist doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and psychologists.
Salary
$93,545 to $132,367 per annum
Classification
Medical Practitioner Level 5-11 in accordance with the Salaried Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019

Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Award
Period of Employment
Fixed term full-time day work (with on-call), working 80 hours per fortnight commencing 31 May 2021 until 30 May 2022.

Duties
Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility. Provide after-hours emergency as determined by the relevant work unit.
