The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for an Administrative Officer (508397) vacancy.


$59,945 to $64,902 per annum

Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award

Period of Employment

Permanent full-time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible


Royal Hobart Hospital – Cancer Services


Provide high-level business, secretarial and administrative support, and assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Medical Oncology and Clinical Haematology Departments at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Provide a wide range of administrative services and undertake specific projects as required.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.  The following checks are to be conducted:
1.  Conviction checks in the following areas:
a)  Crimes of Violence
b)  Sex Related Offences
c)  Serious Drug Offences
d)  Crimes involving dishonesty

2.  Identification check
3.  Disciplinary action in previous employment check
