Oversee the day to day financial processes within GETI. Oversee and provide high level advice and support relating to compliance for TasTAFE and Government schools to meet the requirements of the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registration.
Manage the statewide operation of the Office of the Education Registrar (OER), including the administrative functions relating to home education, registration of non-government schools and conciliation conferences. Coordinate data collection and outcomes and provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Registrar.
Lead the development, implementation and review of a compliance system that supports the functions of the OER, including associated policies, procedures, training, documentation and reporting for use internally and externally to improve the delivery of services to stakeholders.
Act as the Executive Officer of the non-government schools registration board.
As part of the school/college office team provide a broad range of general administrative support consisting of effective and efficient client services and advice and operation of school/college based accounting, maintenance and records systems.
Employment Coditions: 42 weeks per annum.
To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a school or college.
Provide assistance to the teacher(s) by assisting with the supervision and learning of students. Provide support and assistance to students with high and/or additional needs including but not limited to students with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and students with behavioural issues.
*Employment Conditions - 40 weeks per year.
To assist with and support the implementation of system improvement initiatives across the Department, including the provision of advice, research, project planning, evidence and data gathering, document production and reporting.
Provide high level support and assist with the implementation of the system improvement initiatives across the Department including the provision of authoritative advice and the design and delivery of supports and resources to build capacity for change and consistent and effective use of inquiry cycles to drive improvement.
To support the implementation of system improvement initiatives and related plans across the Department, including the design and delivery of an action plan for implementation focussing on building capacity for change and supporting the consistent and effective use of inquiry cycles to drive improvement. Provide strategic and high quality advice that supports key decision making in the area of system improvement informed by research, reflective and best practice approaches.
Undertake teaching and assessment duties in a variety of contexts and in line with relevant standards and compliance requirements. The occupant is required to regularly monitor and evaluate practice in order to maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
To deliver an efficient and effective personnel and payroll service through the use of an integrated, computerised HRM system for the Department.
As part of a team or alone perform various facets of the attendant role which may involve cleaning, grounds keeping, kitchen assistant duties and maintenance of school facilities to a hygienic, safe and presentable level. This role may also involve minor maintenance of related equipment.
